This no-cost training will equip early childhood education (ECE) leaders with foundational knowledge about the
prevalence and impact of trauma. It will also cover what it means to be trauma-informed and how leaders can apply and integrate this knowledge into their organizational structures.
The training embeds adult learning principles, models trauma-informed practice in the classroom and includes didactic and experiential materials.
This training targets early childhood education professionals who are in leadership/supervisory roles, such as Owners/Administrators, Directors, Assistant Directors and/ or Supervisors in ECE program settings.
The participant limitation for each cohort is 10 persons. An application process has been developed to determine cohort participation reflects role, program and geographic diversity.
